1st and formost I am disappointed for 2 things in this year marathon. 1st is that with my effort to ask people down to support us but none came down and few others incident happen. 2nd is that my plan was backfired. I had a good start towards East Coast park. My condition was good and I was running at a pace that can enable me to finish about 5 hr. But at the 23Km mark onward.... it all went wrong really WRONG!!! I rush through the morning by having my bag to deposit and going to the washroom. Not forgetting looking for Brian and company. I had a minimum time to do my warm up and I just run like that WTH!! I admit that this year I did not train as hard as last year but after a time of expereince I have faith in this year run. What went wrong???
The hot weather and my mental. Last year it was cooling as there is some rain but this year it was very VERY hot. I underestimate the weather. Got to blame myself for not training under a hot sun. And come my mental. Through out the 2nd part of the race which really taken my life away, I kept have the mentally of slowing down. I became weak and have signal to vomit. Not forgetting all the negative news that is dominating in recent months kept sinking into my mind. I became small on the inside and become very catious and started to walk. Eventually from the 30Km mark I only manage to jog for about 30%. I run all the way from 40Km to the finishing line. (Vomit after crossing the line) Hai....
Many things that I can say through out the race if you want to know when we meet then ask me lor.... there will be no picture to post as I am pissed off with something. Not too sure whether next year will I be taking part will see how ba. :(
Not forgetting to thank God for His strength and motivation. Those who sent me greeting and giving me moral support.
Those who nv come down should repent la. If next year by the grace of God I can drive down, then we will see whether any people will be going down.
