Woot.. haa initially I wanted to find somebody to share with me to buy the CD above. But when I saw Ps Kong brought a CD up to the stage I knew he might give out the CD for free to a person. Yea.. so when he ask who want a free copy, I just lift up my hand and look at him. Surprisingly he look at me and say I will give it to you! I was shock!! I sat on the 4th row and I quickly get out of my seat and run towards Ps Kong. I receive the CD from him! WOW!!! It is an honor man..

This is the 3rd time I was so close with Ps Kong. The 1st time was many years ago, after Emerge Conference, I went to the back room area and I saw him. So I greeted him and he pat on my shoulder! I was so overjoy! The 2nd time was during SOT. Ps Kong was praying for people and I was the catcher. So I get to see Ps Kong expression and action really up close. When he pray for those people, I can really sense how spiritual he is. His passion as a Pastor, i feel not many in the world can really match him. I am biased la haha =)
Recently I know the Sundeck saga was hot news in town after the Jack neo incident. I never been speaking about this issue yet beside my Facebook status. Firstly, for Jack Neo, yes he did made a big mistake and such mistake is unpardoned. But he took responsibility out of it. Everybody make mistake. Be it a celebrity or any other unknown person, we all want forgiveness and a chance to change. Yes his movie is all about values we need to embrace and yet he himself got no moral values. But if we look at another angle, he is doing what all his movie is portrait. Admit your mistake and learn from it. If your heart is truly fill with true repentance, God will indeed forgive your trespasses. That is what makes Christianity so unique and wonderful. We all got to be "dead to sin" I believe God has forgiven Jack Neo and the Church is behind him. The most important is his wife has forgiven him and is standing by his man all this while. This is what I call love unconditionally just like how Jesus loves us. No matter what mistake we did, He is always there with us. Jesus says "Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy." So you guys decide.

The second was the Suntec saga. I have been following Ps Kong's blog for about a month since the news broke off. I know the concern that most of the people had on the blog. The bottom line is how the MONEY is going to be spent. I learn in SOT that we all ought to obey God in giving for the Kingdom of God. How the money is spent is between the Church and God Himself. We have no part in it. If God found the Church has not been a good steward of His money, the God will judge it just like how Ren Ci and NKF. So we must trust God that all the money is in good hand. I believe God is not stupid at all. He will make sure everything is in order. Someone told me this recently. "As much as we wait on God, we also cannot be ignorant and be naive because at the end of the day we do not want to feel 'cheated'." God will never cheat on us but man will. If God is in our equation, then we will not feel that way. If God is not in it, naturally we will feel cheated to some extent.

Today during service, Holy Spirit reminded me on something. We have all been focusing on why the deal is this and that but we are missing the whole point. For the past 4 years, we've been praying hard and applying all the principles of God for our new building. We cry when we pledge during Arise n Build. We think of ways to give and work part time. Above is Suntec City. In my own personal time for the past years.. I pray for an ironic structure in the marketplace. I visualise there are many escalator going up to the Main auditorium and also a large screen outside the building. And guess what, Suntec city fulfil all these criteria! The 4th dimension works! WOW... We need to always see the miracle and the work of God not of man. We pray and pray for so many years and now God answered our prayer so why must we doubt the whole project? Point to ponder... we have gone through so far as a Church as a family let us continue to build God a great house.
