I was very near to the track and I saw Ferrari's Kimi and Massa as well as Lewis Hamilton drove pass me at a high speed. Breathless lor. The engine sound was so LOUD. It was trilling. Below are some random photos and a video

I play a short host to 2 of the French students who came to Singapore for a holiday. They were once came to NYP for project attachment. Their school was ESIEE which I am going for my project in France. I ask them about life in France and many other more. They share with us some of the things which Singaporean did over there in France. I can tell you it was very ugly. Is a typical type of ugly Singaporean. (3rd and 5th from the left are the 2 French)

14 more days and I be flying off for 3 months. Hmm can you guys do me a favour by installing Skype? I can webcam and chat with you through the Internet.

I promise Benjamin to mention this in my blog. Ben treated me to a HK dinner at Upper Thompson after Saturday service. Haha Thx for your meal and ride. Will buy you some Duty Free beer. =)

O man... I don't to what degree will I miss Ethan when I am away for 3 months! Just now Ethan came to me and as usual we both exchange hugs haha but to my surprise, today he say "I miss you teacher CK" Wa... the feeling is worth of me waking up at 7am to travel down to Expo and miss my service with my CG. His maid look at me and smile. I then kiss his sweaty cheek. LOL. Joash and Joyce never come today. Both Ming wei and I are uncomfortable without their presence. Arhh.. how to survive in that 3 months?

Today we taught them about Noah building an ark to save the animals. So they took turns to build an ark using Lego blocks. It was so interesting.

Chen Li Ping and Chen Tai Ming came to our Expo service today. I think they came a number of weeks already. I saw Chen Tai Ping b4 service start as he brought his kids to children church. After the service, my leader and the rest put away our duty and wait for them. Haha we all just want to see Chen Li Ping. And we saw her, she look slimmer a lot le. Pst Ming was hosting them. The funny thing was many of the members keep looking at them. 1 parents even came to me and say "hey I saw the who" haha I say I know la is the Chen Tai Ming and his wife. Haha. I ask the cleaner auntie go see also. LOL. It was nice to see them so let pray for them to really integrate to BBG and the church

1 Mummy told me this morning that I look slimmer compare to last time. Hmmm I also don't know why ba. Now I seldom play Sports or jog le. Think is either too stress or Emo too much ba.

Please pray for Children Church as they are targeting 6000 kids for children church big day next week. Please avail yourselves to serve especially in Expo or bring along your cousin, nephew or niece etc.

I feel.... is so true. Haha especially the 1st one. =)

1) Guys may be flirting around all day, but before they go to sleep, they always think about the girl they truly care about....

2) Guys are more emotional than you think, if they loved you at one point, it'll take them a lot longer then you think to let you go, and it hurts every second that they try.

3) Guys go crazy over a girl's smile (:

4) A guy who likes you wants to be the only guy you talk to.

5) Giving a guy a hanging message like "You know what?..uh...nevermind.." would make him jump to a conclusion that is far from what you are thinking. And he'll assume he did something wrong and he'll obsess about it trying to figure it out.

6) If a guy tells you about his problems, he just needs someone to listen to him. You don't need to give advice.

7) A usual act that proves that the guy likes you is when he teases you.

8) GUYS LOVE YOU MORE THEN YOU LOVE THEM!!!

9) Guys use words like hot or cute to describe girls. They rarely use beautiful or gorgeous. If a guy uses that, he loves you or likes you a whole heck of a lot.

10)If the guy does something stupid in front of the girl, he will think about it for the next couple days or until the next time he spends time with the girl.

11)If a guy looks unusually calm and laid back, he's probably faking it and he is really thinking about something

12) When a guy says he is going crazy about the girl, he really is
Guys rarely say that

13)When a guy asks you to leave him alone, he's just actually saying, "Please come and listen to me"

14)If a guy starts to talk seriously, listen to him. It doesn't happen that often, so when it does, you know something's up.

15) When a guy looks at you for longer than a second, he's definitely thinking
something.

16) Guys really think that girls are strange and have unpredictable decisions and are MAD confusing but somehow are drawn even more to them

17)A guy would give the world to be able to read a girl's mind for a day.

18)No guy can handle all his problems on his own.
He's just too stubborn to admit it

19)NOT ALL GUYS ARE RUDE!!! Just because ONE is RUDE doesn't mean he represents ALL of them

20)WHEN A GUY SACRIFICES HIS SLEEP AND HEALTH JUST TO TALK TO YOU, HE REALLY LIKES YOU AND WANTS TO BE WITH YOU AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE

21)Even if you dump a guy months ago and he loved you he probably still does and if he had one wish it would be you to come back into his life

Finally I get this blog skin done by myself. Haha. This blog skin will be just nice prepare for my trip to Paris next month. I think the combination is cool. =)

Later CG, I have a very good testimony to share, so as usual I pray that the word that I speak will bring conviction to the heart of the people and they will catch the Spirit behind my testimony.

I have not been feeling very well this few days. My FYP room is at level 5. The half of this level is currently under construction. It is so dusty. My throat has not been feeling very well and the feeling sucks!! Got to stay for at least 2 weeks more. SIAN.

During Thursday CG, I gave a Word prompt by the Holy Spirit based on Psalm 127:1

1 Unless the LORD builds the house, They labor in vain who build it; Unless the LORD guards the city, The watchman stays awake in vain.

I was amazed to see Ps Kong use that verse for his opening sermon! It was a confirmation from God le. Haha. Indeed we are in a season right now to trust in God and depend on His strength while we give to the Building Fund! He will provide for us.

Girls in general are interested in details, feelings and they can inter-connect issues very well. Guys on the other hand, bond through activities and communicate through actions. Both need to know the difference between positive and negative dating behaviors so it can help you choose a good dating partner.

'Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus'

7 tips to help you achieve a successful relationship...

  1. Look for common interests
  2. Pay attention to values
  3. Don't try to change the other person
  4. Be true to yourself
  5. Expect good communication and don't run from conflict.
  6. Don't play games, pressure or manipulate someone
  7. Be true to for how you want to be treated

After 3 years, Aiko finally back to Singapore to visit me! She is my friend from Japan. When I move my ministry to Expo back in 2005, she was one of my senior. Naomi (Ps Kong's Japanese interpreter and her husband is CHC board member) and Aiko are both my good friend in children church. Especially Aiko, because of our age so I think we get along quite well. When I saw her on sunday, I was shock! She became so pretty. Japanese girl lei.... =) But is sad la she need to rush off and I am busy with my work so never take a picture together.. hai such a waste. But I got an old picture. Compare to her look now - Is total different.

About my weekend.....

After a long boring week in school, finally weekend came....

Saturday, I went to JW for svs again. It was such a boring journey. But the service was awesome. I felt the joy of God in me when we sing Amazing Grace. It was the 1st time I sing this song in church. It was so amazing the presence of God is so different. I was smiling with tears. Thank You Jesus =) After service, I went home and change to go BBQ at my cousin house. It was a family gathering. I ate a lot of heaty thing haha my stomach becoming bigger. LOL siao liao no 1 want me le. Got to start running.

By right I should go for Sunday JW svs but Ethan just return from USA on Saturday morning. So i got to serve and also pass him the present. It was a hasty morning. Due to the blood donation drive, my teachers and I we chiong all the cleaning and packing. We are instructed to finish by 1215pm but by the grace of God we did it at 1210pm! I was sweating like rain. Serving God is fun le. =) My leader who is also from BBG, share with us before the service. The power of confession, believing and visualising. She share with us what En Han preach and some of her as well as other businessman testimony by applying the principles. I was so challenge by the visualising. She said that when you visualise in your mind, you got to visualise all the important details. Haha so I was joking by saying I need to visualise the look of my girlfriend le. LOL. I have fun with Joash and Joyce. Joyce cook many wonderful dishes for me to eat wor. Haha. I can tell you it was so cute and funny. I read story today to the kids. Parents and kids are watching me sharing the story so I tell myself I cannot screw it. Thank God, the kids enjoy my story especially Erin! I was so encourage and touch by her because she responded to me while I was reading and asking the kids some question. As you know Erin always ignored me haha but I am glad she now begin to like me.

I was amazed by the side of the children playground. Almost all my students went wild playing inside the 3 level playground. They have so much fun lor. Haha so after finish all my duty, I went to look for my Ethan. I miss him so much! Auntie help me to call him out as I want to pass him the present. When he saw me, he run toward me and hug me. Haha it was so sweet lor I chat with him a while and pass him the present. He was so happy! After that he continue running into the playground. He was sweating all over his body. O man I don't know what am I going to do when I am away for 3 months? I sure miss him till dead de. I got 2 more weeks with him before I fly. How I wish I can come every sunday but I got a service to attend if not someone will start calling me. Anyway Ps Derek slim down le. haha I ask his maid she say yes slim down le but he loves to eat.

Should the Church and its Ministers be Controversial?

Richard Roberts is an American televangelist and a former president of Oral Roberts university in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is the son of televangelist Oral Roberts. In October 2007 Roberts was named as a defendant in a widely publicized lawsuit alleging improper usage of university funds for political and personal purposes along with the improper use of university resources. The scandal led to his resignation the following month. This is maybe why CHC cancel the weekend service with him schedule to be around July 2008. This year SOT is not in any kind of link with the university.

This really shock me! Mike Guglielmucci is the person who wrote the song "Healer" feature in the Hillsong lastest albulm "This is our God" In August, 2008, Guglielmucci admitted that his claims about having an aggressive form of cancer, supposedly diagnosed in 2006 were untrue. He is no longer serving in active ministry, and is now seeking professional help. In October 2006, Guglielmucci revealed how he had gone to the hospital for a series of tests which revealed that he had "quite an aggressive form of cancer". He said that it was this diagnosis and moment that inspired his song Healer. Guglielmucci's has confessed that he suffers from a pornography addiction, "This is who I am - I'm addicted to the stuff, it consumes my mind." People donate to him because of his so call "Cancer"

This were few of the latest controversial news in the Christian world. It is so sad. Of course there are still more such as Benny Hinn, Joyce Meyer, Joel Osteen, Kennth Copeland and many more. Our Ps Kong Hee is not spear either. People criticise the way they do church and preach the gospel. Say so much bad things on the Internet and slander them. 1 of the most talked topic is the "Prosperity gospel" I remember reading 1 blog cater to criticise Ps Kong teaching and CHC. There are just such people around in this society. Calling them fake preacher and false prophet. They even quote the Word of Jesus regarding the rise of such preacher!

The message of the church is controversial, depending on which side of the morality fence you may be standing. If preachers are deemed to be controversial it will depend on whose gospel they are preaching.Franklin Graham recently said, speaking of Dr. Jerry Falwell, “Jerry was portrayed by the media as a controversial figure, but I knew him as a friend. Any man of God who holds to the truth of Scripture will be considered controversial by the world. As Jesus said, ‘All men will hate you because of Me, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved (Matthew 10:22, NIV)’.”

No matter what you say or write, there is no controversy until someone does not agree with you. To that person, what you are saying or doing becomes controversial. You can often get some idea of whether you are right or wrong simply by who agrees and disagrees with you. When a person, by what he believes, speaks or writes, leads others to debate, argument, disputation and disagreement we quickly label him as being controversial.
Do you know of any person who is not controversial to some degree? When I was a college freshman I took a class in Bible history. Unless you know something about your ancestry and what has preceded you, you may never know where you are going.
In those two semesters I realized that many people who have done anything worthwhile have been embroiled in controversy. Ambrose Bierce called controversy, “A battle in which spittle and ink replace the... cannon ball.” The Bible is full of revered and sainted characters who were as controversial as anybody is in the world today. Their names were Noah, Abraham, Jacob, Joseph, Isaiah, Elijah, Moses, Joshua, Daniel, David, Solomon, Amos, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Peter, Stephen, James, Paul and the most controversial of all of them was Jesus. These men still stir up controversy, disagreement and debate wherever their message is presented.

The Rev. Dr. Jonathan Falwell, who has succeeded his father as pastor of the 27,000 member Thomas Road Baptist Church in Lynchburg, Virginia, was asked in a television interview, “Are you going to be as controversial as your father?” Jonathan replied, “If your definition of controversial is that we are going to continue to speak to the issues of the day, speak out against abortion, speak out in favor of traditional marriage, speak out in favor of the family, then I can assure you we will be.”
You could also add such evils as gambling, alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco, adultery, pornography and other wicked things and every evil influence. Few politicians will ever take a strong stand against evil and if you insist that they should you will hear them whine, “We cannot legislate morality.” So they continue on legislating immorality and apparently feel smug and comfortable in doing so.
If we do not stand strongly for what is right, our nation may one day be taking its final gasps of freedom’s air. What made this nation strong and free is the only thing that will keep it that way.
A brilliant first century writer asked two controversial questions: “For what if some did not believe? Will their unbelief make the faithfulness of God without effect?” Then he nailed them with these two controversial answers, “Certainly not! Indeed, let God be true but every man a liar" (
Romans 3:3-4 NKJV).

When the church and its preachers declare God’s eternal truth all in the world who do not believe in truth will cry out, “You are too controversial.” But that does not alter truth one iota. We are not the judge of truth. Truth will judge us.
