Whole of this week is a holiday for me. So I bought the 1 week train tickets to Paris. To maximise it, I either chiong Paris alone or with my friends. I have many things to post. BTW i did a video greeting at Effel tower for all of you. Will post next week. I went there yesterday and it was simply awesome. Will post all the effel tower pictures next week. I went to many places in Paris. So next week everyday I will post 1 place. So stay tune.

I was really hope that my close friends are with me when I am in Paris. Because I don`t enjoy with my schoolmate compare to good friends. Well I am praying Ben will come and join me hehe. Anyway i went to La Defense and 1 of the world famous shopping district Champs Elysees. I only cover about half on those 2 places because to shop alone is so bored and is very cold. So BenJAMIN U r wanted here in PAris. LOL.

LA DEFENSE

La Defense Grand Arc

Unbelivable
Shopping district and offices
Structure is awesome

CHAMPS ELYSEES
Champs Elysees Grand ArcLV. The world biggest LV shop
I went inside for the roadshow

So far all the pictures I took include some video is 1.6GB!!! Haha. Well above are some of the many photos i took at those 2 places. The Arc at La Defense is directly proportional in size and placing as the Arc in Champs Elysees. The distance is about 2km. I can see the arc at Champs Elysees when I was in La Defense! Simply Brillant. Effel Tower is another structure which makes me speechless. Monday will post.

Arise n Build is coming and just want to let every1 know that i am fasting and praying with you guys too for that. Do keep me in prayer constantly because I need it. If possible please contact me through email or sms me. I want to feel I am like home. Haha as you know i am very homely 1. Ok la gtg le... I miss Ethan John and my kids. As well as my beloved CGMs.

7 seasons for eating chocolate (On the wall of the shop)

1. It recalls childhood
2. It's an anti depresser
3. It's romantically pleasurable
4. It alleviates stress
5. It's a source of nutrition
6. It's a positive stimulant
7. It's consolation for the taste buds

Sainte-Chapelle was built between 1242 and 1248, in according with the wishes of Louis IX to house the relics of the passion of Christ. The most famous of these relics was the Crown of Thorns. The Chapelle became a "New Jerusalem" and hence the second capital of Christianity - Paris.

Above is just a short information on the Chapelle I got from the guide. I was greeted by a statue of the Virgine Mary. The lower chapel was awesome when I saw the structure. But the chapel above was speechless. It was like heaven. When you see the pictures below, you will think it is a truly monumental and sumptuously decorated reliquary. Sculptures and windows combine harmoniously to glorify the Passion of Christ and create a feeling of entry into the heavenly Jerusalem. It is very quiet inside. There is chairs lay by the side for people to sit. I know why. For people to feel the peace of God. I felt God presence so tangible when I walk towards the front. Peace fill my heart I sat down quietly after taking all the pictures and video, praying. I soak into His presence. Immediately Holy Spirit speak into my heart - "Look at the glory of God every kneel shall bow and tongue confess to the glorious God." I was just seated there enjoying His presence. I can tell you that is worth all the queing up under the rain for that moment.

I have an interesting post on thursday. Mean while enjoy my 2 new posts ba.

I went out around 930am headed to Paris. I have my MP3 with me looking out of the window enjoying the scenery. I enjoy being alone so as I get to know myself better and to have reflection. First stop I went to State de France. (France national stadium) It was like a dream come true. I never dream of going to that stadium apart from watching soccer matches on TV. Anyway I just bought a tickets to watch France vs uguary on 19 November. I am really excited and looking forward to it. 80,000 people will be there!!. I went on a stadium tour yesterday paying 8 euros. It was an unbelivable experience for me. Enjoy some of the pictures. BTW I pluck out some of the grass on the field. Haha I kept it inside a transparent plastic bag. Hope it can last till Singapore. SHHHH cuz is illegal to do that.

William Willett (10 August 1856 – 4 March 1915), is the inventor of daylight saving time.

Daylight saving time is the convention of advancing clocks so that afternoons have more daylight and mornings have less. Typically clocks are adjusted forward one hour near the start of spring and are adjusted backward in autumn. Modern DST was first proposed in 1907 by the English builder William Willett. Many countries have used it since then; details vary by location and change occasionally

In generalAll countries in Europe except Iceland observe DST and most change on the same date and time, starting on the last Sunday in March and ending on the last Sunday in October. Before 1996, DST ended on the last Sunday in September in most European countries; in the British Isles though, DST then ended on the fourth (which some years isn't the last) Sunday in October. In the West European (UTC), Central European (CET, UTC+1), and East European (UTC+2) time zones the change is simultaneous: on both dates the clocks are changed everywhere at 01:00 UTC, i.e. from local times of 01:00/02:00/03:00 to 02:00/03:00/04:00 in March, and vice versa in October.[22] See also: European Summer Time and British Summer Time which includes description of Double Summer Time.

I was quite confused by it so I went to the internet and check it out. Dalight saving time end on Sunday 26 October 2008 at 3AM. The clock set to go back 1 hour at this time. So I got to adjust my my watch again le.

Next week is a holiday for me. But I will be back in school maybe not to do the project because I don't know but to use the internet hehe. Be sure to read my blog for updates. Have a nice weekend service with Ps Kong and God bless. =)

PS: Pray for me.

Before you watch this video clip, please take out your Bible and turn to Luke 7:36-50 and read it. Then you watch this video which I took it at the Versailles palace on Saturday. When I look at the big painting on the wall, I felt God presence. It was unbelivable experience!!!

I know the 200th post suppose to be Disneyland. But due to some reason, I cancelled the trip. But I went together with my friends to Versailles. It took me 1 hr+ and change 2 times of trains to reach there. I must admit, Saturday was the first time I experience the real France. The whole environment give me the feeling of being in France compare to the place I stay which I don't really feel it. As we were making our trips over to Versailles (Castle), We came across a Police force open house. LOL... I think of Benjamin. There were Exhibition on the various equipment which the French police use. There was also a mock show on how the local police stop a rioting. It was an eye opener as we don't expect to see such thing. Then we walk toward the Castle of Versailles. You guys can check out on the internet of the history of this old palace. I was speechless when I went inside to see the palace. There were many paintings and sculptures. I took over 200+ pictures! It was awesome to see many historical artifact. I am a history person so I don't mind paying 10 Euro for that. is worth every penny. Then I bought some soveniour inside the shop. I make it a point to buy something at a places of interest so as not to feel regret when I reach Singapore. We reach there abt 2pm and we left the palace at 7pm !! It was a very cold and windy night. I was freeze to death! While I was on the train station, I receive a sms from 1 of my close friend. When I read it my heart sunk. Anyway, I gonna post all the pictures and may you enjoy. .
