Hehe.. today we celebrate those kids who are born in March. Actual day 29 March are Andre, my cutie and Joyce, my baobei. Joyce is so funny, she shake hand with me because it is her birthday. Then share with me how she celebrate at home wahaha.
Erin today was very emo... she pull a long face the whole morning. I ask Aunt Joy y? She say Erin scolded by her mummy. LOL. Erin is 3 yrs old and know how to feel emotional hurt. WOW. Erika as usual happy go lucky haha she still 2 yrs old only la. That Ethan hor.. too much le.. grow up to 6 yrs old le don't want take picture with me le. Gone are the days which he was still small and always willing to take picture with me =( Anyway we are still very close. I told him I am going to Bible School tomorrow. He look at me and ask "what is a bible school" I say is a place where everyday I can see ur daddy. LOL... he laugh.
Tomorrow SOT le. Finally the day has come... I am feeling very hungry now because I fast the whole day le. 1 hour to go to 7pm and I can start eating hehe =)

WHAT TO TAKE NOTE OF AS CHILDREN’S CHURCH TEACHERS
“DO”
1. Be sensitive to needs especially newcomers. Note that sometimes the children may have had a bad day
2. Inform your Service IC of any discipline issues; don’t cover it up or keep to yourself
3. Always be composed, even if a child is rude to you or raised his voice at you. Stay calm and deal with the facts objectively. Don't react but respond.
4. Remember you are an example to others especially the children. They do repeat what you said to their parents
5. Take time to hear yourself; don't be quick to speak
6. If any parent seek your advice on how to discipline their child, remember state you are not a professional but your opinions are your own and you are giving suggestions to help. Or that you may help them to check
7. As far as is possible, when disciplining a child, bring him/her aside and not discipline child in front of the other children.
“DO NOT”
1. Be too casual or familiar with the children and treat them as you would your peers (Apply to me. LOL)
2. Use terms like “shucks” or “shag” (these terms carry other meanings)
3. Discipline any child when the service is over such that child’s parent has to wait for you to finish
4. Be emotional, shout or physically manhandle any child even when they misbehave
5. Demean any child, be rude or discipline out of anger and say things like “You got attitude problem, is it?”, “You are such a naughty child”, “I feel like 'killing' you”
6. Complain or give feedback to parents of child’s misbehaviour (unless there was a fight or an accident & a child was injured)
Generally, even if any child misbehaves, please do not be found wanting in your conduct as a teacher.
Remember the church is to be a happy place for every child.
