Sunday, January 10, 2010?
This is my 1st blog post in 2010. Haha.

I was on my way back from Sunday Expo service and inside the train I saw 3 tourist from Taiwan (Based on their ascent). They were with maps in their hand discussing where to alight and how to travel to the place they want. They seem having difficulties pronouncing 'Tanah Merah' I was reminded what I had gone through when I travel to London alone from Paris. Map was my best friend and with my broken English I manage to communicate with the British people.

I was looking at various direction and I took the opposite direction from my hotel. My Crumpler bag and my luggage were killing me. I tried to reach the hotel fast and then rush down for service at Hillsong London. Initially was planning to go Emirate Stadium that evening hopping to have the chance to buy 'Arsenal vs Liverpool' match ticket from the black market haha. But sadly my plane from Paris was delay for 1 hr because of ice frozen in the wing of the plane. It was winter at that time and the weather was very bad. But not as bad as the current winter condition across Europe.

Travelling without any tour guide is a very good experience to explore around a new places that you never been before. Just like those Taiwanese guys I saw.

Inside their (MRT)

'Fine' board is everywhere in the train. Just like SG

Their MRT station is call Underground. London Underground system is undergo a major revamp. Thus not all station is operating everyday. It is to improve the train system in time for 2012 London Olympic games.

I had the luxury to take this express train from London Heathrow airport to City instead of taking the longer route via the normal train service which will take 1hr. The express train that I took was fast and took me 2omins only! What a big different. Of course the cost is different too!

Thumb up for British Airway!
Pastor always said that how you end 2009 is how you enter 2010. I ended 2009 with 2 voucher from a brother. I enter 2010 with another 2 voucher from my Dad. Haha now I have 4 different kinds of voucher. Haven use any yet. Especially the SG Flyer tixs, was initially planning to go on Christmas day but I have no date!
Mcdonalds ($12)

Sakura ($30)

Swensens

The best of all! A pair of SG Flyer tix!
Lets hope this year will be a better year!
